Friary Guildford, the no. 1 ranked band in scaba and London & the Southern Counties, are delighted to announce a joint concert with the number 1 band in the world, the fantastic Cory Band from South Wales.
Currently Brass in Concert, National, European and World Champions, Cory have topped the World of Brass – 4barsrest World Rankings list for the past 9 years. We know that awesome is a much-overused word these days, but the sound of the Cory Band is simply that!
Current London & Southern Counties regional champions Friary Guildford have been undefeated in the scaba Entertainments contests for over 10 years, and in 2015 they won the Most Entertaining Band award at Butlin’s Mineworkers championships and made their Brass in Concert debut. On Sunday 28th August in Guildford they will be showing why, and sharing the stage with the best band in the World.
