This Sunday 9th March, Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson will be performing live at the Barbican Center in London with an 18-piece brass ensemble.
The ensemble, made up of orchestral brass players and musicians from the Durham-based NASUWT Riverside Brass Band, will play the moving score to The Miners’ Hymns, a film portrait of Britain’s industrial past by American film maker Bill Morrison.
