It is with great sadness that we share the news from Lewes, Glynde & Beddingham Band of the passing of their former Chairman and Solo Trombone, Peter Cowlett.
Peter was a member of Horsham Borough Band, Sussex Symphony Orchestra and Harvey’s Brass. He was a former member of Uckfield Concert Brass and also ran a trombone group from UCB’s base in Uckfield.
Peter was also an accomplished pianist and organist. He also composed and arranged pieces for band.
Our thoughts are with his family and the many close friends that Peter had in the banding and orchestral world at this sad time.
