Oxted Band are also delighted to announce the visit of Derick Kane who will be joining us for our Spring Concert on 20th April at 7:30pm at St John’s Church, Hurst Green, Surrey in the latest in our annual series of ‘Stars of Brass’ concerts. Derick is well known in both Brass Band and Salvation Army circles, having been the Principal Euphonium player of the International Staff Band for many years. Over the years, Derick has played all over the world, having only recently returned from a trip to Brazil. He has also been rightly recognised by the Brass Band world, being a past winner of the British Bandsman’s prestigious award for “Euphonium Player of the Year
