We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our Honorary Vice President David Read, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 27th June, aged 90.
Renowned as a leading brass band adjudicator, player, conductor and educator, David was a keen supporter of banding in our area. He will be sadly missed by the brass band community.
